FWOT 101: Currencies & Materials

Greetings Earthlings!

You need not fear us, as we come in peace and only wish to supply you with information. And today’s out of this world mutterings concern the various In-Game Currencies & Materials. So join us after the fold to talk about Pizza, Chips and much more……

FWOT is much like its stablemate games and many others out there in the galaxy, in that it has a free currency, in fact it has a number of them,  and a premium currency. So we thought we’d bring you and the lowdown on them all.

Nixonbucks: One of the main freemium currencies and  essential to progressing in the game. It may seem in short supply when you start out but you’ll find it starts to build quickly as you progress. Nice touch to make it necessary for Levelling Up Characters, makes it worthwhile to continue to collect them after you unlock all the Districts.

Get From: Buildings Rent, Character Task Payouts, Completing Quests, Space Missions, Daily Log In, Purchase from Store.

Used For: Buying Buildings and Levelling Up Characters.

Hypnoton: Anothe of the main freemium currencies and again essential to progressing in the game. Harder to collect than the Nixonbucks but used less so gathering these shouldn’t stall you too long.

Get From:  Space Missions

Used For: Clearing Blocks and repairing special Buildings.

Pizza: Pizza is the food of the Galactic Gods at TinyCo, a and main premium currency, and although it greatly helps progress it is not essential to purchase it to play the game, it will however be a must have if you’re a completist.

Get From: The main way to get higher quantities of Pizza is to buy it through in-app purchases, yes with real life cash, ouch!!! The pricing structure covers a variety of packs for players to choose from. However do not despair as you can gather some free Pizza, and who doesn’t want free Pizza???  So if you fancy yourself some free Pizza here’s where it’s at, 100% Complete Space Missions, Daily Log In, In-Game special Rewards,Watch Videos and Other Offers.

Used For: Buying any and all Premium Items, these can includes Characters, Costumes, Buildings, Resources and much more. They can also be used to Speed Up Tasks and unlock freemium Characters quicker, so basically letting you rush through the game. You will find Events see the release of a lot of premium items, so most Pizza spend is usually during these.

Experience (XP): XP is an essential resource for progressing in the game, you’ll see it awarded for most things you do.

Get From: Buildings Rent, Character Task Payouts, Completing Quests, Space Missions, Daily Log In.

Used For: Levelling up your Game. And this is important as the higher the Level you’re at the more Dark Matter, (fuel), the Planet Express Space Ship can carry.

Dark Matter (Fuel): Probably the most essential resource for progressing in the game, and one that you’ll run out of often. Why? Well because it’s used for Space Missions, and our Space Chip is a real Dark Matter guzzler.

Get From: Timed Freemium Space Ship Refuels, Purchase from Store.

Used For: Space Missions.

Chips: Another very important resource for progressing in the game, and one that you’ll run out of often. Why? Well because they are used for levelling up characters, and the costs skyrocket as you get to higher Levels. They come in different types and different sizes, which will all be covered fully in an upcoming post.

Get From: Space Missions or Purchase from Store.

Used For: Levelling Up Characters and Outfits.

Health Pack: Handy but not essential thing to have during Combat. I find it disappointing how little health each pack restores.

Get From: Daily Log In or Purchase from Store.

Used For: Gives a Health Boost to Characters during Combat.

Revive Pack: Very useful to have but not essential thing to have during Combat.

Get From: Daily Log In or Purchase from Store.

Used For: Used to bring Characters back from the dead during Combat.
