MAIN QUESTLINE

The main Questline for this event is Family Matters.

Bender will start things off, and here’s the first three Parts to get you going:

Pt 1: Bender Bend Girders (1m)

Pt 2: Bender Invite His Mom Over (1hr)
Collect 10 D-Waste Files (collect from various character tasks)
Place Bender’s Mom in Assisted Computing Facility (costs 5 D-Waste Files)

Pt. 3 Complete the Return To Junkleon 7 Mission
Collect 20 D-Waste Files

CURRENCY & MATERIALS

D-Waste Files (Always): (you will get different amounts depending on Character’s task time)

The following characters have tasks to drop these: Fry, Bender, Amy, The Professor, Kif, Scruffy, URL, NDND, Robo Hermes, Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Bender’s Mom, Flexo, Chris Chadwick. You’ll also get them from Assisted Computing Facility, Bending School, Bending Plant, Smokestack Factory, The Comedy Simulator, Space Missions to Junkleon 7 and for completing Questline parts

NEW SPACE MISSIONS

And we’re on our travels again, as this event brings us 2 new Space Missions to complete. Both are located on the new Event planet, Junkleon 7 and will unlock as you progress through the ?Main Questline. These will take some time to navigate, but you want to start working on them ASAP as they are where you can collect extra D-Waste Files and Flexo unlock item, Flexo Memory Files.

So what new Missions await our motley crews.

Junkleon 7 Mission 1: Return To Junkleon 7

Unlocks at Family Matters Pt. 3

For this Mission as long as you’ve got Bender unlocked and a Level 3 Character you’ll be able to start the Return To Junkleon 7 Mission, however to 100% complete it you’ll need Bender Level 12.  The Mission comprises of Combats and there are a total of 50 D-Waste Files scattered along the Paths and more to be picked up. You’ll also pick up a minimum of 5 D-Waste Files for each completed Path, (10 for a first time completion), a bonus of 10 D-Faste Files at 100% Completion and 10 Pizza. And there’s also 1 D-File awarded for each combat you win.  You’ll need between 20 & 24 Fuel depending on Path chosen.

Junkleon 7 Mission 2: D-Waste Not Want Not

Unlocks when you build the Bending School

For this Mission as long as you’ve got Bender unlocked and a Level 5 character you’ll be able to start the D-Waste Not Want Not Mission, however to 100% complete it you’ll need Bender Level 22. The Mission comprises of Combats and you’ll collect the 25 Flexo Memory Files which are needed by finding them scattered along the Paths and from Combats. You’ll also pick up D-Waste Files for each completed Path. But as I say the main aim with this Mission is to collect those 25 Flexo Memory Files to help unlock Flexo. You’ll need between 23 & 26 Fuel depending on Path chosen.

Addict Tip: First remember you need Bender, so don’t keep automatically renewing him on his drop task, do these Missions in between then put him back on Task. Plan to have enough Fuel to complete a Path so Bender isn’t stuck on a Mission for hours when he could be back on his drop task. Plan ahead, use our info on fuel above to do this. Like other Missions you can collect some resources simply by travelling along the paths, in these Missions that’s D-Files or Flexo Memory Files, but you can’t just travel along the Path and garb these, you will need to engage in Combats. So choose your Crew based on Combat strength. And of course you’ll need to Level up Bender the best you ca to access the various Paths.

I reached the brink of being unable to continue this game yesterday, as I couldn’t place the Curvetti Bros Bending Plant without it immediately crashing, even when trying to do so as the very first action upon restarting the game. It eventually worked after around 10 attempts and force-stopping several other processes, by clearing some land for this building as close as possible to Planet Express and fully zooming in when placing it.

    Sadly, I might not be able to keep playing like this for much longer… either need to buy a new device or for TinyCo to fix the game memory requirements/memory leaks. It usually crashes at least 5-6 times for each regular login, so I have to repeat many actions in the game over and over again until they stick. That’s really tiresome. I’ve been asking TinyCo (via support) to implement the ‘low resolution graphics’ option from FGTQFS (which helps a lot) but they’re not listening and just respond with useless basic suggestions.

    1. Hopefully the low graphics option will come in future. Be shame to lose you playing due to crashing rather than not enjoying the game. Another player had the building issu but it’s ok now. I haven’t had any issues with FWOT on my devices but FGQFS has been playing up a bit again.

        Funny how some of my posts on this site have different avatars. Think it depends whether or not I click the Facebook icon before each post… not important obviously but don’t need to do that repeatedly on the other addicts sites! 🙂

    1. It’s needed for main Questline but as this is a mini event you don’t need complete that. So I’d base your decision on how your detachable Goattee drops have been without it, and of course when you think you’ll have Bender’s mom unlocked to help the drops. The Curvetti Bros does drop D-Waste files, so you will get some of your spend back if your on top of collections.

  4. I see characters used for events is headed the same way as FG has been. That is, we’ll continue to get more of them but only the same (early attained) handful will be used primarily. There has to be a time when there’s a reason for advancement. FG still hasn’t given much of one with so, so many characters and rarely to never a reason to use them. They introduced Stewie Bucks but never add more things to use them on.

  5. This new update has made performance even worse on my device. I load up. I place new building for new character, game crashes within 6 seconds. Building is nor placed, rinse and repeat.

    1. Ah my favorite phrase….rinse and repeat.

      One day TinyCo will learn to test on all devices before launching an event, unfortunately, that day is not today. If you have the game saved try an uninstall/reinstall with a cache clear in there. If you don’t have your game saved don’t try that..just contact TinyCo.

    2. Already in contact with TinyCo. They cleared my cache but I still get constant crashes, maybe it’s just my tablet. I have managed to get the buildings placed… eventually.

      1. Glad you’re at least getting bit success. A lot of devices seem struggle with these games, they seem tough on memory etc.
