Pizza Poppers: Travel to the Moon and complete event Space Missions 1-1 to 1-10, PvP Universe Tier Rewards, Complete Questline Parts

PvP UNIVERSE BATTLES

After being used in the Christmas event PvP is back  and the current round will end on Wednesday 17th December at 3pm PST (11pm GMT).

The dynamics of PvP are the exact same as before, only the rewards have changed. You’ll still start with 5 Battle Energy and as you use them each Battle Energy takes 2hrs to recharge. And you’ll still have Search option to choose new opponents but playing through it things look well-balanced with opponents.

If your new to PvP your basic aim is to win the battle and gain battle points and other rewards. The amount of battle points awarded depends on level of opponent you choose, but I find taking a similarly levelled opponent and defeating them gets me 22 battle points, this appears to be the maximum. Defeating lesser opponents will see you get less.

It is accumulated battle points that determine your rank and what rewards you get for winning combats depends on your current PvP Universe rank, so you want to keep increasing it when you can.

Current battle rewards are:

3 Epsilon Coins
50 Nixonbucks
Variable amounts of Battle Points

Current Tier rewards (awarding at the end of the current round):

NEW SPACE MISSIONS

And we’re on our travels again, as the event brings us 10 new Space Missions to complete and they are all located on the Moon. The first will unlock when you trigger the main Questline and collect Space Mission Key #1, then each subsequent mission will unlock as you complete a path on the previous one and find the Mission Key required for the mission. They as usual start off pretty easy to complete as the enemies, a mix of old enemies, are weak at first, but the difficulty starts to increase as the mission goes on, and by Mission 1-6 you’ll find yourself needing a L35 crew, by Mission 1-9 a L65 crew, so you get the idea of the difficulty ad you go on.

You’ll collect Cargo Drop Boxes  that will include event currencies, materials and the usual chips and such. The amount you get depends on the mission you are on.

You’ll find a guide to what can be found on each mission by clicking here.

There you have the overall Basics that I can give you for the Alpha event.

What do you think of it so far? Any tips for fellow Players? Any items you’re frightfully excited about? Any items you immediately purchased? Let us know in the comments.

  1. On the whole a nice idea, especially for people like me who never get past the first, maybe second character in any event. This game is just to unpredictable to spent a lot of time on it. But here is an acutal chance to get some of the people i missed, even if I have to stick to the gamma and delta boxes. Most annoying thing: I can’t seem to get the last costume (URL) out of the box, I always get a consolation prize instead. Why can’t we empty the box, and THEN get consolation prizes?

  2. Can someone tell me how to get Key #2? I got it last Saturday then the game crashed and I have spent the next 5 days trying to get it again. Tiny o has not responded to multiple requests for help, as usual.

  3. I’m sorry , but I’m new and I found that is so so hard to go forward in events . Because for this event in example I can’t complete the mission 1-2 in 100ù because I havn’t reched level 30 yet . ( my best character is in level 12 ) . is it normal , or I’m missing something ?

    Thank you .

    1. You don’t have to 100% the map to move on the next mission, you only need find the key. But with your level, many of the maps will be tough, I advise trying level up few characters as you play.

      1. yes , that sure , I found that’s very difficult to advance in the mini-event when you are new in the game . thanks for reply .

  4. I’ve got all the characters from the coin boxes already (as in, before the episode started). Why doesn’t the Alpha box give Pizza Poppers as a consolation prize (like the Beta box gives Alpha coins, etc.) so I can hit the Omega box? Oh yeah, because they want money for that.

  5. Honestly, I’m REALLY liking this event. I think it’s set up really well, it’s a bit of a challenge without being too difficult as you can get bundles of coins at a time during space missions, certain ones giving enough for a mystery box after just a few trips. Only a few characters and costumes are required to via pizzas, so it doesn’t drain you of them, and the pizza poppers to pizza slices set up is fantastic. Only complaints I really have is that the way it’s set up as to what character is in what mystery box is a bit bizarre, like how Lrrr is in the Gamma box, Ndnd is in the Beta box, and Pazuzu is in the Alpha box when they were part of the same week. Also the fact that the space missions have a very sudden jump in levels in the second half, but it makes sense at least, as you are essentially getting a ton of returning characters for free, so there needs to be a big challenge.

  6. I keep getting character’s I’ve already got from the mystery boxes I’m just wasting coins 😠 what a the point of this?!

    1. It’s frustrating, they shouldnt be in the box if you already have them. i won Off Duty URL who I already have 3 times. 😞

      1. I did message TC and got a stupid reply back about how i would have got 60 beta coins for getting the same character over and over again, this for 3500 gamma coins yes TC that seems fair😡

          1. Pazuzu just dropped into my game and I am no where near to gaining access to this set of boxes. Is it a gift from the game; it’s the only character I didn’t already have.

            1. Few players have received freebies if they were already working on unlocking character in their previous event. So that’s you full house, put your feet up, or go grind some badges for the next week. 😅

  7. I had the buildings for Ndnd, Vyolet, and Monique, but hadn’t been able to unlock them. All three were auto unlocks when this event started, without needing to buy a box. I’ll take it. Working on trying to get Roberto, as he’s the only one from that box I need. Not holding hope out for anyone in the Alpha box, but I’ll try.

I’d like it if the reward were one coin that was worth whatever amount we’re supposed to get, rather than 50 individual coins, for example. When they all collect at the same time, it makes a horrible noise and lags my game out Other than that, no complaints, really.

  8. I wish they would’ve added characters from the Christmas event. It’s the only event I’ve ever not finished so, aside from the ones that cost pizza, I already have all of these characters. In 10 days in the Christmas event, the unwanted Xmas tree lot didn’t even drop everything I needed for Kwanzaabot despite being just “uncommon” drops. Would be nice to get him! Don’t care for the others I missed…think it was just powersuit professor and that snowman thing.

  9. Really great players receive characters they could not finish unlocking during events. Only had this happen to me once with Flexo and he is not part of the event. LOL Really feels like TC is making amends here.

Don’t like mystery boxes… Yet – did three pulls and got Nixon, Blatherbot and Crushinator. Pretty good results, my favorites would be Mr. Peppy and Neil Degrasse Tyson.

Apart from that: i only want Lrrr. But as I understand it, each box can give you either the characters you don’t have tyet – or resources, if you a character already. So chances for Lrrr look pretty low and I won’t get my hopes up.

Last thing: pvp still crashes. I am leaving only one low level character (like my level 1 Crushinator) as my team when I am done with pvp, so others have an easy fight. There is no downside for doing this and it helps the community.

That’s a great idea! I’m going to start doing the same thing. Thanks for sharing that.

  10. Is there a maximum amount to the pizza poppers trade-in? It seems to have disappeared from my game now, and I’ve only 100% missions 1-1 & 1-2. I’m still earning poppers, BTW.
