Space Missions: Alpha Event Overview!!!

Greetings Space Cadets!!!

You need not fear us, we come in peace and only wish to supply you with information. And today’s out of this world mutterings concern Space Missions.

Space is quite literally the Futurama frontier, it’s where us Addicts boldly go to fight intergalactic villains and to gather resources. Want to know more? If so, join us after the fold.

So where are we off to today space raiders? Oh yes, you’d better buckle up cause we’re heading to the Moon to take a closer look at what you can get for completing the events Space missions.

ADDICTS INFORMATION

As usual these start out quite easy if you’ve a high levelled crew but gradually get tougher.

Moon Worms are evil on thr later missions, inflicting upwards of 3000 damage on my crew.

Apart from this there are still reports of the crashing when completing missions still, I’m still having the issue, TinyCo are aware of this and working on a fix.

END DATE

These are just temporary event Space Missions. They will disappear from Neptune with the event on 24th January at 3pm PST (That’s GMT-8)

So let’s get on our travels again, as the event brings us 10 new Space Missions to complete and they are all located on the Moon. The first will unlock when you trigger the main Questline and collect Space Mission Key #1, then each subsequent mission will unlock as you complete a path on the previous one and find the Mission Key required for the mission. They as usual start off pretty easy to complete as the enemies, a mix of old enemies, are weak at first, but the difficulty starts to increase as the mission goes on, and by Mission 1-6 you’ll find yourself needing a L35 crew, by Mission 1-9 a L65 crew, so you get the idea of the difficulty ad you go on.

Mission Key #1: Have Professor Use Tractor Beam

Mission Keys #2 – #9: Get from Cargo boxes collected on Moon Space Missions, you will find the keys needed to unlock Missions 1-2 to 1-10 in previous missions, ie the key to unlock mission 1-2 will be found in a Cargo box in mission 1-1.

  1. I have been stuck at mission 4, because I don’t have any money to level up characters beyond level 20. Currently I am still working on getting Amy to 24, so I can go one of the more valuable paths. Probably not going to happen before the event ends again.

  2. I haven’t levelled up a single character for this event. I just ran the open paths until the keys dropped and then moved on to the next map. Not bothering with 100% any maps. This way I have reached “Fragile Package” (map 1-4), which has gates for Amy, Fry or Professor at level 24.

Behind these gates are three epic crates (they each can contain 535 Gamma Coins), so that’s what I am farming and probably will keep doing that until the end of the event or when I get Lrrr (not.getting.my.hopes.up.)

  3. I already had all the characters that you can get for coins, and there’s no way to upgrade the coins to pizza to get the ones from the Omega box. The Alpha box just gives you more Alpha coins, unlike the other boxes that change you up. Seems like there should be (isn’t that what the new pizza poppers are for?!), since the coins are useless to me otherwise. Plus, no George Takei, who’s my number one missed character. I don’t have enough pizza to get the other characters and don’t have enough Nixon bucks to promote the characters I haven so this isn’t much fun now that I ran all the easy ones out.

  4. just how much nixonbucks do they think people have or can earn? back to back events each adding nearly ten characters that you had to level to 20-30.most my characters are at or below 10 except a few, so i have to level a ton of these guys to get 100%s on most these missions. Its driving me crazy.. didnt even bother with santas helpers challene from xmas cause there was no way i was going to be able to level fry and 4 others to 30+ especially when you had to put your cash on the xmas bosses to finish missions most times.

I still say they need to make that nixonbucks daily planet mission permanent or every other day or something.

    1. There are issues with that, try go to your PVP crew deselect them all, come out PVP, go back in research crew then hit search.
