As usual these start out quite easy but they get tougher.

You’ll see the new Battle speed up icon in the upper left, you can speed up combats to 1.5x or 2x. You can also skip animation on the special attacks by tapping the screen to dismiss it once special attack is underway.

Once you unlock a character, there Orbs will leave as a chance drop in Cargo boxes to be replaced by Nixonbucks & Career Chips.

These are just temporary event Space Missions. They will disappear from Earth with the event on 15th February at 3pm PST

So let’s get on our travels again, as we look closer at this weeks missions. 1. No, at the moment I can only choose between two pathes at beach day, as I got only one character above level 30 (which is H. G. Blob at 33), thanks to those hardly available 3-star-badges. Also I can’t start second mission of Decapod 10 as I’m also missing the last fishbone needed to get Zoidberg and I have to wait more than six ours to get enough fuel to start over Beach Day.

TinyCo is a game developer beyond believes. :-p

  2. Thank you for listing the contents of the boxes, very useful. Got Michelle today, she looks like a very powerful deliveryboy with her blocked attack and charm. Already levelling her up, she will replace H.G. Blob on my A team.

Still need 70 more orbs for Lrrr’s costume and about 150 for Petunia.

    Event is pretty good.

  3. Mission 1-4, True Romance, has a recommended crew level of 40, but my crew of all 41’s were wiped out yesterday by the fourth of six combats… I’m just going to keep grinding Mission 1-1 on Fry’s path. The drops are just as good there as any other, it seems. I’m already about halfway to Petunia and Michelle.

  4. I’m having a hard time building up Nixon Bucks and leveling up players to 30, let alone past 30. I’ve got a zillion career chips waiting to be used but getting these promotion badges is another pain in the butt. I only level up characters as the game requires, I try not to waste my money and badges during these events. I give up on all these events after the first couple levels, is there even a point in playing anymore? If it was a matter of just leveling up main characters, that’s one thing, but having to level up newly released characters almost instantly to level 34 is ludicrous. Any advice?

    1. I’m levelling up some of the core characters such as Amy, Fry etc. basically getting a crew that can handle the tougher Badges missions makes a huge difference, and of course running the Nixonbucks missions on a Saturday is essential – apart from this watch the pattern of characters needed for paths and pick one or two to level up – of course no guarantees of how often they’ll be used but some do repeatedly appear.

    2. Melicious, I am the same as you. I have *no* level 30s. I have been avoiding getting new skins, which turn out to be a totally different character, as far as I am concerned. I can’t play one of the lines in “Earth: Mutual Feelings” because I never acquired Off-duty URL (unless I’m misunderstanding something else). The Chapek 9 mission “Disrespect you elders” was nerfed. I was using Leela (or any high enough Captain) to get extra bucks at the “Out Space Oddity” point. Now the point requires Science and instead of bucks, another useless chip (like you, I have hundreds already, but not enough bucks). Bucks for character levels and some buildings for over 90K to progress a story line. Yes, I could spend real life money, but I don’t think so for this game (too much in TSTO, lol). I have found that I should have characters at least two levels higher than any quest line, or they tend to get beaten pretty fast (even with two healers along). OK, enough venting. :^) I’ll grind for a few more levels, I reckon.

      1. Nixonbucks are a sticking point for everyone, farming them once a week on the Daily Planet is only way to try stay on track but I know that’s tough when fuel being used on event missions etc.

        1. Farming the Daily Planet missions on saturday is not exaxtly the only way. Right after I started playing the game I realised theres not a chance in hell I’ll finish those events with my poor setup og game-character.

So I stopped progress on the events on a regular basis after two days and put all my nixonbucks into buying city towers for 4,500 nb each. After around 2.5 months I got 200 city towers and grind 10,000 nb every 3 hours.

I will build another 50 city towers to be safe. But even then it’s a pain in the ass to upgrade the characters or buy buildings that are needed to progress.

          1. At the moment farming Daily Planet is only way for players who didn’t think to or who don’t want a farm, I’m hoping we see more ways as a lack of nb is seeing many players at a standstill. But I’m sure top you wish list is a collect all button for that Tower farm

            Like

            1. Nah, those city towers are all aligned up neatly. Takes me about 90 seconds to harvest ’em all.

Top of my wishlist wishlist would be a descent way to get 3-star-badges at “promotion track, as I got only 2-star-badges four times in a row on that mission.

Also I wouldn’t mind to achieve hypnotons more easily, as I have grinded through earth-mission “monster bash“ more often than I count, just to get 100 hypnotons out of 19 fuel stops. Althought at the moment I’m squeezing 350 hypnotons out of repeated runs on the easy path of the “beach day“ mission at 38 fuel stops each. A far better ratio.

              Like

              1. Have you ran all the Decapod 10 missions again, as 2000 hypnotons were added to the easy path on each mission.

Sounds like you’ve a collection routine running.

And those 2-Star badges mock us at every turn even on the 4-Star paths.

Ok go collect your Nixonbucks. 😅😅😅
