Worry not puny Earthlings!!!
It’s not the end of days. Nor is it the end of the world. It’s only the end of the Cornwood Ascending event, and as much as you’re probably thinking “I need more time”, I’m afraid to say it’s running out as the event finishes on the 12th April at 3Pm PDT.
So good luck to Addicts everywhere!!! And please keep an eye out later for our End of Event poll, it only takes a minute to complete, so please do so if you can, as we love to hear how our fellow players have done.

Yeah I couldn’t beat the last challenge. I used up fuel and healing and every time got beat. I liked this event a lot and the new characters but I couldn’t beat that last challenge and I couldn’t get nearly enough essence’s to eventually upgrade 6 of the characters. Bummer!

I have lots of level 3 characters from this event. So – should we trade in all of our essences or hang on to them as we push the characters to level 4?

You’ll need enough to cover Essence cost to promote them before the event ends as you can’t collect any more essence for the freemium characters post event

I am really happy with this event. It is the first time I was actually able to accomplish something. All the previous ones were just to hard for a low level player like me. I have earned all the freemiums, collected enough essences to get everyone to 3* (Greyfarn to 4* – if I ever earn enough NixonBucks), and even bought some pizza to buy the two premium brothers. And maybe with a 3* team the upcoming event won’t be so hard anymore. The only thing that irks me just a little is the fact that I won’t be able to get most of those guys upgraded to 4* if the time comes. Which means I will have to raise up another team of regular characters with that goal in mind.

Anybody know if it’s likely that the Geysers of Gygax will keep dropping Frydo Essence after the event is over? Depending on the answer it’s either useless to me or a must-buy.

Does anyone know if the essences will still be needed after the event to rank up the new characters, or will they revert to using badges? I don’t have enough Nixonbucks to level up a couple of them and I’m wondering if I should trade in the essences of one character that I have no chance to rank up so that I can get enough Nixonbucks to level up another one that’s close.

If you’ve enough essence you can still use them later but you won’t be able collect any more essence for the freemium characters post event
