  1. I missed the post on collecting the grand prize, so I missed it 😦
The biggest issue, as always, was fuel. It’s a waste to keep collecting XP after maxing out the game level. On TSTO, once levels max out, experience goes towards bonus donuts. in FWOT, xp after level max should go towards either a ship re-fuel or pizza slices (which can go towards fuel).

  2. It’s very difficult for me to get the game to run during events with extra stuff. I have to keep trying just to get in and then it crashes all the time. If I do manage to do a space mission it crashes EVERY time when returning. I know my device is rather old and that’s a big part of the problem, but I don’t have any issues with any other apps/games except for Family Guy. There seems to be some coincidence there huh. FG has been working better for me than FWoT lately though.

  3. Game stability was very poor throughout with the game only launching around 20% of times. At times (perhaps busy times, e.g. weekend?) it would not launch for hours. On the upside, goals to get the new characters and skins were easily achievable even with not being able to access the game for long periods. Usually the end of an event is a last-ditch struggle to get a much-wanted character. I only levelled up the new characters and skins to the amount required for the quests (level 13 or 16), just not interested in throwing away cash and career chips on a skin.

  4. I’d just like to say that TinyCo delivered two really awesome updates with DOOP and Cornwood.
I loved how DOOP didn’t require fuel that was already being used elsewhere for once. You could work on it at your leisure and still play the other events/levels.
There was lots of good stuff about Cornwood. Getting the characters themselves was quick and easy, which was best part. Then being able to level them up with the event currency instead of promotion badges was a huge plus for me. I actually broke down and spent the money on a planet load of pizza, and now I have a full team of characters above 60! That would have taken me months of grinding the daily missions when I could fit one in. Lastly, I liked that there was no extra event currency to be spent on a lot of useless decorations; the two trees were the only decorations and they were cash.
It would be nice if TinyCo would do more to let you know what would happen when the event ends, specifically in the fact that the premium characters levels are now permanent. I would probably have bought Waltazar and Larius if I’d known their levels would have been forever in my Earth missions. Just a note on the characters purchase info that said “Unlocks Permanent Missions” or something like that.
Overall, I would like to applaud TinyCo for making a couple really fun updates. Especially after a lot of frustrating ones. On the frustrating ones, I spend a ton of pizza on fuel and still come up short on unlocking characters. On Cornwood, I spent about two-thirds of my planet of pizza on fuel to level up my characters to 60, but I’m actually happy about it because the event was so great and inclusive to players at all levels. Thanks, TinyCo.

  5. TinyCo has been doing great with the events this year, in my opinion. Cornwood Ascending has to be the best one, or close to the best one, so far. I didn’t have any 4* characters before this event, so even getting some costumes past that threshold to make daily planet farming more lucrative is a sweet reward.

  6. I liked the essence for levelling up but not the need to rapidly rank up for different paths. It still costs way too much to go up ranks with limited cash and limited career chips.

If it has taken from the start of the game to level up characters to mid 40s how do they expect me to get new characters to level 60+?

Also not a fan of the increasing amount of fuel needed for the later space missions in each weeks questline.
