Worry not puny Earthlings!!!
It’s not the end of days. Nor is it the end of the world. It’s only the end of the Zapp Brannigan And The Doop Team Up For War event, and as much as you’re probably thinking “I need more time”, I’m afraid to say it’s running out as the event finishes on the 16th May at 3Pm PDT.
So good luck to Addicts everywhere!!! With this event being a bit easier than usual again I’m not going to do an End of Event poll, but there will be new posts about any new content up as soon as it drops.

My problem isn’t getting the regular star badges. It’s getting the type specific badges, the influencer, captain, robot, etc. types. I can’t seem to survive any mission to get any of them except I did once and I’m stuck at missing delivery boy badge for Fry. Every time I get to a point where I can replay that open point of the mission, because all the other routes are for higher level players, I die with all level 30 characters in use.

If you managed to get Powersuit Scruffy, get him up to 30. His special will allow you to win even if he’s the last one alive. As long as you’re quick enough to keep activating it before you die, being immune to attacks means he’ll whittle down even the stingiest foes eventually. I’ve had to rely on him to get me past the Decapod 10 missions in order to earn stuff to unlock naked Professor and Elzar. You need someone that can survive. No need to spend pizza for health packs or revives.

i always end up with loads of pointless mission tasks left over from each event that I’m not interested in completing.
I still have 4 from the hero event (promote person X to rank Y) which i can’t complete because the promotion disks are no longer available!!
I’ve just messaged TinyCo so see if they’ll clear all of them except main missions. I wonder if other players have loads of partially completed “quests” that hold no interest to how they play their game.

Yes players are having this back up due to the ranking up tasks, but TinyCo are clearing Questlines like these for players if you contact them

I know this isn’t that thread yet, but this episode was frustrating. There was no way to get enough Purple Hearts to do all it asked of us. They should let us keep making them with the building so we could at least get everybody ranked up someday. I already have a bunch of characters stuck in limbo from the other episodes that pulled the same stunt. (I did get enough disks for all the Less than Hero guys but haven’t spent the money and chips to finish them. Not so much on the Cornwood guys.) I like the idea of earning badge-equivalent stuff in an episode, but having to get 150 or so per character, after a base number to get the character, has been way too many with the current fuel limits and mission payouts. At least I got a bunch of gold from the sticker goals.

I really thought I could at least get all the free characters, but Admiral Chu is still out of reach… Last count was 220 medals, maybe I can get 260 to at least 3 star one of the guys I already have. *Sigh*

Yeah, this event was a lot more grindy than the last one. Disks cost more, and the currency dropped in far smaller numbers. I guess they thought we did too well the first time. I only got Morbo and Linda, and only got both to level 3. The last two days I’ve been trying to earn spice weasels for Elzar instead of doing the event stuff. The other characters didn’t really interest me enough to bother, and I still haven’t earned regular Zapp, so I couldn’t have bought his costume even if I wanted to.

They changed it that you could buy the costume and it would sit in storage until you unlocked him

On another note, and I’m sorry if you need to remove these posts also, I can’t seem to complete the only mission, hence the only method, of getting one component to recruit Zoidberg. I guess I could if I could get past level 30 with enough of my characters, though.

Yeah concentrate on getting someone over 30, even an event character that requires Disks

I don’t see any help post threads on this site. I tried to use the one from the menu, but you can’t post to it anymore from January. I can’t seem to get to a point where any of my characters can get past level 30. Everything I seem to need to do that is either in something I can’t do or says that you need a level far higher than 30 to be able to survive. What am I supposed to do?

Sorry the Help section hasn’t worked since Alissa set up the site and I’ve no access to that side of things.
You can run missions for badges and trade in 2 star badges for 3 star badges to get someone over 30, I know it’s tough but it can be done. Just decide who you want to Level up and concentrate on them.

Grinding for bucks, chips and badges also now disks is well, a grind. You may feel like you are spinning your wheels trying to do everything the game tells you is necessary, blorp that. Take your time focus on one character at a time and depending on what missions you will be facing. Don’t let the events distract you too much. I began this last event with my main squad of five characters all at level 47, strong enough to just get Morbo and the blond up to level 60. And that was a lot of grinding.
