NIBBLER CHARACTER PROMOTIONS
You will not use Badges to promote the event characters and outfits, instead you will use Disks. Yes, the very same Disks you had to collect to unlock Nibbler. Here’s this weeks promotion costs. However remember this is simply to promote him, it does not include the costs in Chips and Nixonbucks to get them to the promotions levels of 10, 30 and 60.
Rank 2 promotion requires: 30 Disks
Rank 3 promotion requires: 60 Disks
Rank 4 promotion requires: 100 Disks
NEW SPACE MISSIONS
And we’re on our travels again, as the event brings us 3 new Space Missions on the new Eternium Planet.
The first Space Mission will unlock when you trigger the main Questline, then each subsequent mission will unlock as you complete a path on the previous one. They start off very, very easy and the difficulty starts to increase as usual as the missions go on, but they aren’t that hard. But the bad news is you’ll use increasing fuel per stop to run these missions although they aren’t particularly long.
There you have the overall Basics that I can give you for the Trouble On Eternium event. What do you think of it so far? Any tips for fellow Players? Any items you’re excited about? Any items you immediately purchased? Let us know in the comments.

I’ve been playing this game for about 2 years (maybe longer…who can remember, right?) and I’ve upgraded almost all characters to level 60 and about a quarter to level 99. Usually takes about a week to go from 30-60 and maybe 2 weeks from 60-99, without buying pizza. I really like this game as an addition to the The Simpsons Tapped Out (which I’ve been playing for over 5 years), and I was excited to see new content coming out. The TSTO ongoing and new events give opportunities to get characters that were missed in previous events. I think it’d be great if FWOT did the same. I’m also concerned that the game will end, especially since the TV show has ended, but that’s the way in the gaming world. :-((

They are doing just that by rerunning old events – you can pick up old characters now

Woohoo. Had Nibbler at level 42 with no way to progress for the longest while. Now I can finally get the rest of the required disks. Just ranked Nibbler to rank 58 before running out of cash. C”mon.

Has anyone had good luck getting discs on any particular run?

I rand the 60 gate path on Mission 3, got me 10/11 each time but it’s costly in fuel.

I am wondering how I can possibly promote Nibbler after August 1st and not having enough Nibbler disks? The same happened to me with Momon where I am stuck forever in “Momon Dearest Pt. 3” without having enough Momon disks. If at least I could purchase the disks later, but no…

I have the same gripe, but basically you can’t. You’ll be stuck with a Rank 2 or 3 Nibbler until they decide to give us another opportunity to earn/purchase upgrade currency (disks).
If you’ve still got tasks in your list that want you to promote a character to Rank X but you can’t because the event is long since over then raise an in-game support ticket asking them to remove it. I had 14 partially complete tasks at one point from various events so I got them to clear them all except for main district mission/s and current event. Took about a month for them to do it but eventually they did.

This event was so quick. I was really shocked at how small it is. I appreciate Tiny continuing to support the game but I’m worried. We went so long without new content and this event is so small I’m concerned that we may be nearing the end of this game. Luckily I still have “main” questline stuff to do like unlock Mom.

What are the effective characters to use against the brain balls?

Most combinations will work as long as you are in excess of the required levels

Cool characters are also super-effective against Brainy, which all Brain Balls are, and take less damage against them, if you are having trouble out-leveling them.
