Welcome To The Angry Dome

Greetings Angry Humans!!!

What The F…. Hey, hold on guys, let me finish. F is for Futurama. Just what on earth were you lot thinking?

Yes it’s a little know fact that in space no one can hear you swear!!! But that might be a little far to travel to let off some steam, so we thought we’d bring a little bit of space to you.

So here’s your very own Angry Dome, a place where you can go to vent about anything and everything, whether it be Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow related or not. Consider this your weekly therapy and let it all out with a good old holler of WHAT THE FUTURAMA?!

Just be respectful of others & be mindful of the language while commenting please!!!

  1. I know this is kind of a stupid question but I’ve been completing all my tasks and some of my characters are at lvl 10 but I can’t seem to promote them. Is there a specific task to complete? I have plenty of badges from The Daily Planet missions

    1. You just go into their profile, level up screen and use the badges to promote the character, once promoted you can start levelling up again

  2. I think this bomb making problem is something TC should have learned from Family Guy. I believe that for any tasks that are over 4 or 5 hours, you either get multiple drops by chance or an always drop. So it is kind of a sliding scale where hard items drops are short duration task and easier item drops are more plentiful on longer tasks (though they still screw up this formula at times).

So there are 4 buildings that drop wicks, and all but one have a minimum 6 hour duration with a common chance drop (the other building is a 10 hour drop). So at best I should be able to make 28 lightning bombs a day (add 14 if you go fire). Unfortunately, I think I only averaged around half the drops which decidedly dropped the number of runs or increased the number of grinds. They need to either drop the number of pieces required for crafting (25 and 30 were despicable) or increase the number of bombs from crafting them (more on the order of doubling the amounts).

I am currently on a 6 hour rotation for this game. I log in collect my character’s tasks, start a bomb craft session, task everyone as close to 6 hours (set gypsy and billionairebot on wandering demons and everyone without a 6 hr task to next lowest hr task). Believe me this isn’t what I call fun, but TC notoriously drops event characters to little more that xp/money whores once their event is done (sometimes even during the events). So you have a large number of characters wandering around doing nothing most of the time.

  3. Progress has halted while I wait for materials to create bombs but I need to have many bombs just so I can get to the end of a space mission. Now I have to have many different types of bombs and it’s going to get worse as the later phases unlock.

Until I have the bombs, I can’t do space missions which means I can’t get the materials for crafting the numerous items in the hell store. I also have to wait for chance drops from buildings to get Billionaire Bot unlocked so I can clear moths in the town. I could buy ghost Calculon but why can’t I use regular Calculon.

This event just feels very restrictive. I have lots of characters and there is nothing for them to do to aid progress. I’ll be glad when this event is over and hopefully we can get something more enjoyable afterwards.

    1. You can do the idioms without bombs, just make sure you take a high level crew with Robot and I like an Infkuencer, and keep attacking. It’s slow, it can take in excess 10 minutes to kill one of the new mission baddies that drop metal but can be done. I’ve run through few missions this way whilst doing other things at same time, I just make sure I keep tapping when my robot and Infkuencer special abilities are available

      1. I had 12 thunder bombs and thought it would be enough but on the first path for the second new mission on Chapel 9 but got to the last battle with two moths and only 1 thunder bomb. I left my characters to fight but while I was distracted my tablet screen went dark, when I opened it up again it had to reload the game and I had to start the last battle again. This time with no thunder bombs, arrgggghhhh. 😀

Got through it. Hope I get enough for future battles beforehand.

        1. Argh, that happened to me when I forgot to switch off auto sleep on my phone, I was just nearing the end of a 2 Snake battle also. But glad you got there in the end.

      2. Sure you can do runs without bombs, a totally mind numbing experience by the way. The point is you should not have too.
Hope Tiny Co have a rethink before the next event but I doubt it.

        1. I think Missions could be little easier or Bombs easier to come by, but they aren’t so we need highlight a way to do it without them. Some are using this to keep up, so although it may be boring, at least it’s something. However if you don’t have time or a lifestyle that allows you to let these bobbles Missioms run whilst multi tasking other things then unfortunately progress will be slower. We are reporting back on this.

  4. Sorry for repeating myself, but the bombs. THE BOMBS. Still, still unbelieveable you need to do no-bombs runs to just keep up with the weekly phases. So sad to read lots of people being behind. Imo if you regularly log in a game like that, you should not have to “brute force” the grind for materials like this.

Or the 130 gasoline cans that have piled up, while fuses were rare. Fuses situation is better now, since water bombs come with different materials. Why does TinyCo have to make things so frustratingly unbalanced.

      1. I agree.
The hole bomb mechanic is insanely unbalanced and is killing the event.
The hole bomb thing really needs to be completely rethinked or just dropped entirely for future events.
It is really taking all the fun out of the event.
