The Eye Of Evil Missions Overview!!!

Greetings Space Cadets!!!

You need not fear us, we come in peace and only wish to supply you with information. And today’s out of this world mutterings concern Space Missions.

Space is quite literally the Futurama frontier, it’s where us Addicts boldly go to fight intergalactic villains and to gather resources. Want to know more? If so, join us after the fold.

So where are we off to today space raiders? Oh yes, you’d better buckle up cause we’re heading to the Earth to take a quick look at the new The Eye Of Evil Space Missions. These are just temporary event missions but be aware you WON’T see these until you create the Captain Yesterday outfit.

ADDICTS INFORMATION

These have a new dynamic added to them whereby you can now choose the difficulty of the Mission, you’ll see EASY, MED & HARD buttons at the top of the Mission UI. Simply tap the difficulty you wish to run the mission at, the harder the mission the greater the rewards, but be aware these higher rewards will come at a higher fuel cost. Easy Missions are 1 Fuel, Med 2 Fuel & Hard 3 Fuel per stop.

You may think there’s no pint running the HARD missions as you get just as many Hero Medals for less fuel running the EASY path, this is true, but where you’ll see a difference is the Hero Points you get, you get a lot more running the HARD mission.

These are temporary premium bonus event Space Missions.

These missions only have 1 path bu you can run them more than once.

You’ll find the Event overview post link below:

You’ll find the Your Friendly Neighborhood Super Team Space Missions overview post link below:

Your Friendly Neighborhood Super Team Missions

Please note TinyCo increased the amount of Hero Medals awarded for every mission on 23rd April, Hero Points however remain the same. The figures shown below reflect the new awards.

All the missions will unlock once you create the Captain Yesterday outfit.  But beware the HARD missions are just that, so be fuel smart and run the mission your crew can handle, don’t be tempted by the higher rewards unless you have a team well in excess of the required level.

The Space Missions are as listed below along with an idea of what their Cargo Drop Boxes hold. I’ve also broken them down into EASY, MED & HARD.

  1. I have been running Mission 3 Easy for ever and ever, that seems to be the “hardest” I can comfortably manage (one lvl45, 4 lvl35 guys). It yields enough medals, but rather few hero points. I am not to worried, though, because I rather have the characters /skins than the stuff from the hp prize track.

One observation: the possible drops from the cargo boxes are a bit misleading in the game, I don’t think you can get all the drops from every box. Having run the 3/easy mission many, many times, I only ever got either 4 or 9 medals from the uncommon boxes. I think it is safe to assume that the rare boxes have either 5 or 11, and the epic ones 6 or 16; same with the other missions (although I don’t have the numbers, ran each one only once for completeness’ sake).

4/4/4 or 4/4/9 are the most common outcome on the 3/easy path, with the occasional 4/9/9, and I have never seen a 9/9/9 yet. Average was slightly below 50 medals before the update, now it is slightly above 60.

  2. Running mission 3 on easy multiple times. Then building up hero coins and buying peta chips. Already bought the upgrade disks for YesterFry and BenderKing. Didn’t bother buying Zookeeper.

  3. With four Lvl 60 characters + 1 Lvl 61 character, Mission 2 medium level is working fine for me, because mission 3 medium level is almost the same and fails many times.
